Woolwich Works
This programme will take place at the excellent new studios as part of Woolwich Works, a fantastic new arts centre in Woolwich Arsenal, just a few minutes' walk from the new Elizabeth Line and the overland and DLR stations.
Two, week-long courses are open to children and young people who are currently in school years 1-11, with seperate classes for primary and secondary students. Each will consist of activities designed for their age, to boost confidence, inspire creativity, and nurture essential life skills through a thoroughly fun and engaging medium - theatre!
Working with professional actors and theatre makers, students will play games, learn performance skills, participate in specialist masterclasses, plus they will devise and rehearse an original theatre performance to share with family and friends at the end of each week.
This student led course gives our young performers ownership of their work, and giving them pride in their achievements.
