One day West End Theatre trip
Travel, Workshop, Show
Travel to your destination by coach or train. On arrival you start your theatre experience with a bespoke workshop before watching your chosen production.

Upgrade your trip with a pre-theatre meal, or pre-order ice-creams and programmes delivered to your seat at the interval.
Prices vary depending on show choice, destinaton and distance travelled.
Two-day West End Theatre trip

Sample Itinerary:

Morning: depart school by coach or train

Afternoon: participate in a bespoke workshop tailored to your group before checking into your hotel or hostel

Evening: enjoy an evening meal in Covent Garden before watching the show of your choice before getting a well-deserved rest!

Morning: after breakfast you will collect packed lunches before taking a backstage tour of the National Theatre.

Afternoon: Enjoy your packed lunch in Covent Garden, followed by a second workshop, matinee performance, or another London attraction, such as the V&A's Theatre & Performance exhibit.​

Explore theatre across the UK
Scarborough: a beautiful seaside town in North Yorkshire boasting two stunning beaches and three great theatres: Alan Aykebourne's world-famous Stephen Joseph Theatre (one of the best in the round theatres in the world); the Spa Theatre and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

Nearby are Robin Hood's Bay - ideal for fossil hunting; Whitby - with it's Bram Stoker and gothic connections; and York, a Roman city and home of the Jorvick Viking Museum among other great attractions.
Minack Theatre, Cornwall: a unique open-air theatre which is dramatically situated on the cliffs at Porthcumo, near Land's End, and hosts a season of plays and musicals from March to November.

London isn't the cheapest city to visit (or live in - we know), but it is home to some of the best cultural and creative places in the world!

If your school is on a budget, there are still some fantastic opportunities open to you:

London schools can travel for free on TFL services, so getting around is easy (read our blog for travel tips)

There are lots of free museums and galleries, such as the Natural History Museum, National Gallery, Tate Modern, V&A, Science Museum, National Maritime Museum...the list goes on!

Many more are low cost, such as the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark, Transport Museum, Tower of London, etc.

If you choose to book these through Theatre Workout, we do charge a booking fee, but that includes Public Liability insurance and will save you time and energy managing your booking.

We've created a range of one and two-week programmes combining our EFL drama workshops for international students with conventional English classes and excursions. Prices vary depending on the activities booked, dates, and the type of accommodation package included.
