Together we can raise awareness on the benefits workshops and theatre visits have on the lives and development of children and young people.
What is the DTEA?
The DTEA is an alliance of 14 national associations working in drama and theatre for, with and by children and young people, plus several additional networks and organisations supporting artists teachers and schools. Theatre Workout is a founding member of the DTEA. For more information go to www.dtealliance.co.uk.
What is SeizeTheDay?
Launched in 2022, the SeizeTheDay campaign aims to raise the profile of drama in schools and of theatre for young audiences.
It connects those who influence what is taught in schools, where budgets are spent, and the shows which are produced with those who benefit the most: children and young people.
We ask schools, theatres, arts organisations to invite their MP, school governors and local press to experience a class, workshop, rehearsal or performance and see how children benefit from it, to hear how it positively impacts them, and how it helps their community.
