Award Winner: Best Leisure Product, British Youth Travel Awards 2016



Last night I attended the British Youth Travel Awards where I was utterly delighted to win Best Leisure Product for Theatre Workout's workshops and courses through Theatre Workout Academy programme.

The competition was intense, but we beat Legoland Windsor and York's Chocolate Story to get the top prize!

If that wasn't enough, we won the silver award for Best Support Service for Theatre Workout Hospitality!

After ten years of no funding, hard work and bags of enthusiasm and passion for theatre, this is a wonderful validation for all our effort, and I share this award with all our practitioners who have helped make Theatre Workout "one of the top ten drama trips in the UK" (School Travel Organiser).

Thank you BETA, thank you award judges, thank you to Ripley's Believe It Or Not and Planet Hollywood for a great after party, and to everyone else who has supported me and Theatre Workout in our journey to provide young people with the best theatre experiences possible!
