When Catharine’s memories are challenged, it falls to a young doctor to decide whose version of events to believe.
A haunting tale of family, trauma and competing truths, Suddenly Last Summer is one of Tennessee Williams’ most gripping plays.
Michael Grandage returns to the National Theatre after more than 15 years to direct Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Harriet Walter (The House of Bernarda Alba) in this rarely performed masterpiece.
