Romeo & Juliet
Royal Shakespeare Theatre
6 Jul-28 Aug 2027
'And what love can do, that dares love attempt.'
Young love bursts out of an old feud. A miraculous, intoxicating, instant connection, fatefully discovered at a party that should never have brought them together.
Though Juliet and Romeo's bond feels indestructible, it proves dangerously fragile.
Every defiant decision risks turning this feverish first love into an untimely last. Making rushed secret vows in a brave bid to secure their union, the future races away from them faster than they can control.
Joanna Bowman directs Shakespeare's timeless, devastating tragedy in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
