Are you an experienced theatre professional? Have you taught before? Are you fun, creative, and just a little bit awesome? We're looking for new practitioners to lead ad-hoc workshops, mostly in London. See below for more: Theatre Workout gives young people the confidence to play, create and perform beyond their expectations through the creation of bespoke theatre workshops. We are recruiting freelance workshop leaders to join our pool of practitioners and would like to hear from trained, professional performers, artists and theatre practitioners from all backgrounds. This role is ideal for London-based freelance actors, performers and practitioners looking for additional freelance work to support their careers. Essential requirements:  • Received professional drama training • Have at least three years professional performance experience as an actor, director, choreographer, singer, etc. • Be experienced working with children, students and adults of all ages • Be passionate about theatre and have a good working knowledge of current West End productions, the industry, and performance techniques.  • Be able to prepare and deliver workshops based on set guidelines and learning objectives, tailoring content according to the needs of the group taking part • Be creative, fun, friendly and able to think on their feet within a workshop setting • Have an existing DBS certificate or be prepared to have one completed Desired requirements:  • Ability to play an instrument – especially piano or guitar • Reside within easy access to central London • Have great customer service skills, able to listen and respond to the needs of their students Visit www.theatreworkout.com for more information on the programmes we work on. Pay: Basic fee £20p/h on a self-employed basis, plus £5-£10 p/h supplements when delivering workshops solo.  Most bookings run for two-three hours, usually in central London Zone one. Expenses and other rates of pay may be offered for other projects on a case-by-case basis. Some workshop delivery training will be given. Successful applicants will be contacted for a workshop audition in which they will be invited to lead a workshop exercise, and participate in other applicants exercises. Date tbc.
