Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC)

We highly recommend that all travellers obtain a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC). It is important to note that this is not a replacement for travel insurance. The GHIC may not cover the cost of all treatment or repatriation as per that received in the UK.

 

Alternative travel insurance providers

Should you decide to make your own travel insurance arrangements, please note adequate and valid travel insurance is a requirement for all those travelling with Theatre Workout. It is a condition of completing your booking with Theatre Workout that you agree to obtain adequate travel insurance by the date of departure.

Complimentary Insurance

This policy is provided as complimentary to any group booking the following services with Theatre Workout after 10th March 2023: 

​

• National coach travel beween their school and trip destination

• National train travel

​

Any claim made would incurr any excess or administrative fees outlined in the table above, but the purchase of the original insurance policy would be covered by Theatre Workout.

This complimentary policy should not be assumed and is only valid if policy documentation has been provided to you by Theatre Workout.

International groups should always ensure they have their own, suitable travel insurance policy in place.

​

Theatre Workout always recommends that groups purchase their own travel insurance policy to meet their own specific needs.
