For one sensational summer only, the gates to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory will open at the London Coliseum.
Multiple Olivier Award-winner Michael Ball OBE (LES MISÉRABLES, HAIRSPRAY, SWEENEY TODD) stars as the legendary Willy Wonka in a brand-new scrumptious production of Roald Dahl's magical and much-loved CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY THE MUSICAL.
Join Charlie Bucket on the adventure of a lifetime as he steps through the factory gates into a spectacular world of chocolate rivers, Oompa-Loompas, extraordinary inventions and delicious surprises around every corner.
This new production is directed by Nikolai Foster (KINKY BOOTS, LEGALLY BLONDE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC), with set design by Leslie Travers, the production features a book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, alongside the iconic songs such as ‘Pure Imagination’ from the 1971 film.
Open the gates to a world of pure imagination for a strictly limited season at the London Coliseum from 4 June to 18 September 2027.
