Thriller Live Workshop
Now in its record breaking 8th year, THRILLER LIVE is a spectacular concert created to celebrate the career of the world’s greatest entertainer.
After opening in the Lyric Theatre in London on 2 January 2009 to rave reviews, Thriller Live has celebrated its seventh birthday in the West End, embarked on a world tour and a sell-out UK arena tour, played over 3000 shows globally to 3 million fans, visited over 30 counties and entered the West end record books by becoming the longest running show in the Lyric Theatres 125 year history.
Taking you on a visual, audio and electrifying journey through the magic of Michael’s 45 year musical history, you will experience over two hours of non-stop hits from pop to rock, soul to disco. Paying homage to Jackson’s legendary live performances and innovative dance moves executed with flair, precision and passion this is a show that you will never forget.

Thriller Live has a lot to offer educational groups, with reference to musical theatre performance techniques, music and cultural history.
This workshop to teach students about Michael Jackson’s music, his unique dance style, and reference his story as we work on show material seen in the West End production.
Tailored to each group, this workshop may involve discussion on Michael Jackson, his music and accomplishments, followed by work on staging choreography set to Thriller, with students rehearsing their own ensemble staging of the song, complete with zombie acting!
An additional option may include Beat It, working on building up a beat-box style sound-scape of the song, learning about rhythm, structuring of a song, layers of complimentary sounds, and the use of the voice as an instrument.

Working Freelance in the Arts, ideal for any student planning a career in which they may be selfemployed, including actors, singers, dancers, musicians, directors, designers, producers, or anyone who may create their own business. It addresses issues on training, representation, getting work, marketing, accounts and other aspects of working freelance.

Theatre Workout Business offers bespoke workshops inspired by performance techniques used in Thriller Live as bespoke teambuilding events. These events offer creative solutions for skills development, such as:

Typical events feature as stand-alone teambuilding events or as part of a wider conference or training day, all of which can be organised through Theatre Workout Business’s event management service.
Sample events may include teaching participants performance techniques, including singing and dance techniques, as they stage hit songs from the show.

Theatre Parties are ideal for adult social groups, such as Stag and Hen parties, birthdays and work socials.
