LAMDA

October Half-Term 2020 - Online

Following the success of our online summer school in July 2020, we're running a part-time online course based on Screen Acting.

 

The programme is ideal for young performers with some drama experience and will include:

  • Acting for stage 'v' screen

  • Creating self-tape auditions and showreel material

  • Voice and speech technique

  • Character development and scene studies

  • Shakespeare on sceen

Ages: 7-13 years

Dates: Monday 26th-Friday 30th October

Times: 10.00-13.00 daily

Fees: £175

Bard Online - October Half-Term 2020

A more advanced course for students studying GCSE or A-Level English Literature or Drama and want to get ahead with their Shakespeare studies, exploring Shakespeare's sonnets, scenes and speeches as we re-imagine staging via Zoom.

The programme is ideal for performers aged 15+ studying English Literature or Drama and may include:

  • Acting for stage 'v' screen

  • Creating self-tape material

  • Fundamental actor techniques - voice, speech, character development, performing for the camera

  • Verse and Prose

  • Scene studies and staging via Zoom

Ages: 14-18 years

Dates: Monday 26th-Friday 30th October

Times: 14.00-17.00 daily

Fees: £175

Online Weekly Drama Club

Following the success of our online summer school in July 2020, we're launching an online drama club with weekly classes after the October half-term holiday from Saturday 7th November 2020.

 

The programme is ideal for homeschool children, international students, and those without access to a local course.

  • Communication skills - Reading Aloud, Listening, Public Speaking, Voice and Speech

  • Shakespeare - Verse and Prose, Performance, Character, Text Analysis,

  • Performance - Acting, Devising, Improvisation, Scene Studies

  • Musical Theatre - Singing, Dance, Acting, Performance

Dates:

Winter term Saturdays 07/11/2020-12/12/20: 6 weeks

Spring Term 09/01/21-03/04/21 (excluding 20/02/20): 12 weeks

Summer Term 24/04/21-24/07/21 (excluding 05/06/21): 13 weeks

Times: 10.00-10.45 (years 4-6), 11.00-12.00 (years 7-9), 12.15-13.15 (years 9+)

Fees: Primary (years 4-6) £7.50 per 45 minute class.

Secondary (years 7+) £8.75 per 60 minute class.

Paid termly in advance.
