For the 2011 Wilderness Festival, Theatre Workout ran two interactive events:

  • A series of popular workshops for children in the Kids Area over two days
  • A spontaneous, interactive, pop-up Shakespeare performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream on Saturday afternoon
  • Pop-Up Shakespeare: Its rough-cast, its spontaneous, its interactive, its a pop-up Shakespeare performance ideal for any festival! Theatre Workout gather an audience, play games, make shapes, and cast a fast-paced performance of Shakespeare's plays.

For Wilderness 2011, festival goers were cast as the mechanicals in the play-within-the-play of Pyramus and Thisby. Lasting approximately 30 minutes, it was short, funny and completely chaotic!
